Fishing Report Friday 21st March 2025
Open 7 days a week ‘Tickets on the bank’ now.
Fishing has been mixed all week, some anglers getting 5 or more trout other anglers struggling to get takes.
Trout being caught close in and close to the surface 2 to 4 feet.
Small black buzzers hatching, especially in the afternoon.
Use small Black Buzzers , or Diawl Bachs a.m. and emerger patterns : Klinkhammer , Shuttlecocks, Griffiths Gnat.
It is also best to move position after 20 mins as trout are being caught all over the lake.
Fishing Update Friday 28th March 2025
Today I stocked with Brown Trout averaging well into double figures with the biggest being over 20 lb.
Please don’t put caught trout onto the bank waiting to photograph, release in the net if possible.
Small buzzers hatching, use dries in the afternoon.
