This policy covers day tickets, fly fishing tuition, guided fishing, corporate days and gift vouchers purchased through this website. It should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions.
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
Day Tickets and Tuition Bookings
If you are not satisfied with a booking made through this website, you may request a full refund within 14 days of the date of purchase, provided the session has not already taken place.
If we need to cancel your booking, you are entitled to a full refund (this does not apply to bookings made using a gift voucher — see below). We are not able to reimburse any other costs or losses, such as travel, accommodation or equipment hire, arising from a cancellation. We recommend taking out appropriate travel insurance to cover this.
Gift Vouchers
- Gift vouchers are non-refundable, have no cash value, and cannot be resold or exchanged for cash.
- Vouchers are valid for 18 months from the date of purchase. This expiry date cannot normally be extended.
- To redeem a voucher, please contact Bernie directly by phone or email to arrange a mutually convenient date. More notice may be needed during busy summer periods.
- It is the recipient’s responsibility to redeem their voucher before it expires — we do not send reminders.
- If you do not attend a booked session without notifying us in advance, the session will be forfeited and no refund or rebooking will be offered. We will wait a reasonable time at the venue before this applies — please call if you are running late.
- If a voucher’s value exceeds the option chosen, the unused balance is not refunded but may be put towards a future booking.
River Tuition and Weather
River tuition booked using a gift voucher is subject to river conditions. If the river is unsuitable (for example, in flood) on your booked date, an alternative stillwater session will be offered. We are not able to rearrange river tuition dates for this reason unless both the river and stillwater venues are unsuitable.
If We Cancel a Voucher Booking
If we need to cancel a session booked using a gift voucher, for reasons other than adverse weather, we will rearrange your session and extend your voucher’s expiry date if needed.
General
These terms may be updated from time to time without prior notice. We do not accept responsibility for vehicles or equipment left at the venue.
